Readings of the Declaration of Independence

If you’re passing by the Annie Cooper Boyd House on the afternoon of 4th of July, you’re likely to see Thomas Jefferson reading the Declaration of Independence on the porch for all to hear. We hope you’ll stop by to hear these words as many did on July 4th, 1776. The Sag Harbor Community Band will be playing and light refreshments will be available. Help us celebrate this important day and event on our country’s history.
