History Beneath Our Feet

Sag Harbor was occupied by the British for 7 years during the revolution and they built a fort, known as a redoubt, on a hill that happens to be the view from a window the Randy Croxton’s house. Croxton has studied that hill for years with a burning desire to prove, in fact, that the fort was there, and it has been proven. Randy will take you through his journey from hypothesis to conjecture to fact – proving that there truly is history beneath our feet.
