The American Revolution Documentary
The screening this winter of all six episodes of The American Revolution was a resounding success. Between 70 and 90 history lovers attended each of these episodes and gave rave reviews for the experience of seeing it on the “big screen”.
From the Battle of Bunker Hill in Boston in 1775 to the signing of the preliminary peace treaty in Paris in 1783, this documentary shares the complex, sometimes harsh and challenging events of the American Revolution, while enlightening us about its key players like George Washington, Henry Knox, Benedict Arnold, Benjamin Franklin, and the Marquis de Lafayette, amongst many others. We are proud to have sponsored these screenings with the Sag Harbor Cinema.
