“Sag Harbor in the Revolution” – A Symposium

The Symposium “Sag Harbor in the Revolution” brings scholars and historians together for a series of presentations on the British occupation of Long Island – from 1776 until 1783 – a major turning point in the history of Sag Harbor. Little-known facts about the “Battle of Sag Harbor,” the evacuation of residents to Connecticut, and how the village recovered as the economic center of the East End will be explored.
